Thank you, Claudia. Hopefully readers being led to the FromRome site will keep the conversation moving.

Doctrinal warfare….is not my specialty if I am honest, spiritual warfare is (though yes I understand the two are connected) because of my past and how I came to Christ. I think the SSPX are about to become much more appealing after Rome wields its big excommunicating stick.

I don’t dismiss Hilderbrand, God made a shepherd boy King and incarnated Himself in a manger. People who dismiss things like Hilderbrand are missing the point of much of our heritage as recorded in Scripture - God often does His best work through the outsiders, the unknown, not the courtiers but those far away from the courts corruption and therefore untainted. To be with God is to be on the outside of this rotten world and it is emnity with its rottenness. What the world thinks insane is God working things out His way, His ways make the wisdom of the world foolish.

Although I agree with a lot that both the SSPX and Sedes say and I do think we need a united front against Modernism but have yet to feel comfortable with either to be honest. Also I know the importance of Law, being on the spiritual frontlines, well you live or die by it, it’s the only protection one has against the flaming arrows of the Adversary.

Darrell, have you heard of SSPX1-resistance Catholics? They still stayed the path, never deviated from the truth. When SSPX 2 (who you are referring to) made a deal with Rome, many priests ordained by Archbishop Lefebvre, stayed true to the fight against modernism. They never left the SSPX that Archbishop Lefebvre stood for… they just carried on. SSPX2 made a deal with Rome…in reality they changed their path. SSPX1 resistance priests, became independent priests who hold Masses in peoples homes or halls. The faithful support them and provide for them.

I myself by Devine providence found them. I prayed so many times asking am I in the right place, every time and I mean every time, I recieve the answer, yes.

We may not have the churches but we have the faith. I may not be able to attend a Christmas Mass every year, and I can tell you, this has more than once brought me to tears, my heart ached badly, it felt broken. Do I miss celebrating major feast days, like those churches who have all the bells and whistles absolutely… but I trust in our Lord, and tell him every day… “ I put my trust in you Lord, lead me”’

I spend the time in my prayer room, having a deep close relationship with God. Praying to him and asking reparation and conversion for those particularly in the NO church. I travel 2 hours to hear a Mass said in a hall, said by priests who never compromised. Who travel the world in their ministry.

Yes, we accept the Pope but don’t compromise, dont follow his errors, we follow the path of truth.

I pray the SSPX2 will consecrate good Holy Bishops and will not make a compromise with Rome.

July the 1st will show the world if they stand for the one true Holy catholic apostolate church. The church of our Lord gave us

God Bless. .

Thank you for your comment Sister :) I’m not sure whereabouts you are but I’m in the UK? Honestly I stand for truth and I believe this is what I was called home to find but it’s been in short supply coming from Rome right now. I see truth and beauty in the Church but it’s not coming from Rome which just makes me want to vomit half the time to be honest.

Darrell, you've hit the biblical theme that has kept me praying and fasting on this issue in the first place. Excellent comment.

Very well said John. Prayer and fasting is a prerequesite for the Truth.

It seems to me that those whom God intends to inspire with this mind quaking truth will also give them the requisite time to work through the cognitive dissonance.

Yes. I have the same impression. God is patient with our weaknesses and defficiencies. And in the end things get done in God's time not ours. All we need to do is be willing to go where he wants us to go. Time lost is usually through obstinacy, sloth and not asking God first what he wants us to do.

Redirection is definitely a US Doctrinal Warfare program tactic that everyone needs to be wary of. And despite my position as a Pope Hildebrand advocate I encourage everyone to be prudent in approaching the topic. After all prudence is a virtue.

I agree with your analysis, we must not approach Hildebrand by dismissing him out of hand as Bishop Sanborn does.  As you have done John, it is important to ask the questions one needs and look for the answers. But I also encourage everyone to believe in Christ's promise that the Gates of Hell would not prevail and that the Catholic Church can only be defended lawfully. God does not leave his Church orphan, and sooner or later there would men willing to defend her.

So we must be prudent, but keep searching for answers without dillydallying. I took almost 4 years of reading http://fromrome.info before I came to the defense of Holy Mother Church. But I hope Catholics come to their Mother's defense faster than I did.

The first step toward believing the impossible is staying and praying with it long enough to even entertain the possibility. Most will not even take the first step.

God answers prayers exactly how we celebrate them in movies sometimes. Perhaps it’s just that some of us don’t believe we are worthy of such a glorious cross, and so we hesitate in the spirit of Thomas.
